Wanted Person-A unit responded to the international port of entry 2 shortly after the midnight hour where agents at the port had detained a male subject whose background check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Maverick County for the subject, Juan Arnulfo Mireles, was confirmed and Mireles was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Jhovany Esquivel was taken into custody at the international port of entry 2 after agents at the port detained him when a check revealed a possible warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Matagorda County wad confirmed and Mr. Esquivel was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Forty-eight year old Cassandra Pacheco was arrested on public intoxication charges after fielding calls of an intoxicated subject at the Shell gas station on El Indio Highway. Upon contact, deputies noted a slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and unstable movement on Ms. Pacheco. She was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
