Daily Reports-November 29, 2020

 Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle/Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy attempting to conduct a traffic stop on a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro on US Highway 277 North  was led on a brief chase after the vehicle refused to stop early this morning. The pursuit, which made its way through several streets in the Deer Run sector, came to end when the driver pulled into a property on Blanca Street. The occupants were detained and a search of the vehicle found several narcotics inside(marijuana, cocaine, prescription medication). Thirty-nine year old Cesar Sanchez was charged with possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest. His passenger, twenty-nine year old Luis Maldonado was arrested on public intoxication charges. The two were then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Possession of a Controlled Substance-Martin Talamantes and Josue Torres were placed under arrest shortly after 4 AM this morning when a traffic stop on Chula Vista Road yielded the discovery of a bag containing methamphetamine inside the vehicle they were traveling in. The two were then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Wanted Person-Sixty-four year old Maria Lopez was taken into custody at the international port of entry 2 when CBP agents alerted deputies of a possible warrant for her arrest. The warrant out of the Rockwall Sheriff's Office on negligent homicide charges was confirmed as active and Ms. Lopez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
