Daily Reports-October 26, 2020

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver/Possession of Marijuana-A county unit patrolling South Veteran's Blvd. this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 1995 Ford Mustang observed travelling at a high rate of speed. Upon approaching the vehicle, a strong narcotic odor emitting from the vehicle was detected. Contact was made with the driver, Bruno Dario Saucedo-Elizondo, who was asked to exit the vehicle after deputies observed a plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance in plain sight. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a white mobile phone box containing five clear plastic baggies with characteristics of crack cocaine (5.96 grams) along with five baggies of methamphetamine(34.32 grams). Saucedo-Elizondo was placed under arrest and the narcotics were tagged and placed in the Maverick County evidence locker. 

Possession of a Stolen Firearm/Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Deputies assigned to Operation Stonegarden conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban in an area known for illegal activity shortly after 4:30 this morning. Contact was made with the driver, thirty year old Christopher Villa and his passenger, twenty-seven year old Kendra Rayanne Alessi. After further investigation,  Mr. Villa was in possession of a firearm whose inquiry check revealed it had been reported stolen out of the League City Police Department. Mr. Villa was taken into custody. A safety pat down on Ms. Alessi found her in possession of a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance with marijuana characteristics. She was also taken into custody and the pair were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
