Maverick County Daily Reports-September 18, 2020

Public Intoxication-Units this afternoon responded to the intersection of Wagon Wheel Road and Lariat after receiving reports of an unresponsive male subject seen laying on the ground. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject found sleeping on the roadway. The subject, Simpson Garcia, was initially unresponsive but woke up after being rolled onto his side. Garcia emitted an alcoholic odor on his person and admitted to having consumed alcohol. EMS crews were summoned to the scene to conduct a medical evaluation on Mr. Garcia before he was taken into custody on public intoxication charges. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
