Maverick County Daily Reports-September 15, 2020

 Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 300 block of Sun Valley Trail reported he noticed the doors to his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 Dodge Durango slightly opened and found personal belongs, including his wife's purse and documents missing from the vehicle. A Formal report was filed with the Sheriff's office and an estimate of the items valued was set at approximately $930.00.

Warrant-Fifty-five year old Juan Garza was taken into custody this afternoon after he was detained by US Marshals for an outstanding warrant for his arrest.A check on Mr. Garza revealed an active warrant for a possession of a controlled substance charged. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Public Intoxication-Deputies were dispatched to the 3100 block of US Highway 277 North shortly before 10:30 AM this morning after receiving reports of a male subject attempting to break into a known business. Contact was made with a male subject at the location upon arrival who appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic and began sweating profusely. The subject, Luis Enrique Trevino, was then taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

 Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle/Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Driving While License Invalid-Contact was made with a complainant who reported her son had taken her 2013 Chevrolet Cruze without her consent while she was asleep. Deputies were able to make a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description on Potro Street and contact was made with the driver, twenty-seven year old Juan Mauricio Ramos, whose check revealed an invalid license and as well as previous convictions for driving without a license. Ramos was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
