Maverick County Daily Reports-March 04, 2020

Driving While Intoxicated-While patrolling Rosita Valley this morning, a deputy observed a vehicle that had been involved in a motor vehicle accident. Contact was made with the driver, thirty-six year old Mario Martinez, who displayed signs of intoxication. Further investigation revealed Mr. Martinez had been consuming alcohol, which caused the accident. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-Deputies responded to Montemayor Street this afternoon after a Dodge Charger was rear-ended by a black Toyota Tundra driven by a known male subject which left the scene. EMS crews arrived at the location to transport the driver of the Charger to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment. 

Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-Deputies responded to the Stripes Convenience Store on FM 1021 shortly after 7 PM this evening after a White Kia Forte travelling westbound on FM 1021 was struck by a vehicle attempting to enter the convenience store parking lot. A witness at the scene report the second vehicle involved in the incident, a Buick Terraza, left the scene travelling in an unknown location. The collision caused front end damages to the Kia and the driver would refuse further medical attention.
