Public Intoxication-Deputies this morning responded to Deer Run Blvd. after witnesses in the area reported a 2002 Chevrolet truck had been involved in an accident while racing along the street. Upon arrival at the scene, a complainant advised the driver of the vehicle had struck a tree, a car, and the house deck on his property before leaving the scene with severe damages. A search of the area yielded the discovery of the vehicle behind the Six Pack convenience store. The driver, identified as Cesar Javier Aguilera, was later located walking in the middle of Deer Run Blvd. He was placed under arrest on public intoxication charges after displaying signs of intoxication and was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Reckless Driving-Thirty-six year old Ivan Lopez was arrested this afternoon after deputies patrolling FM 1021 observed him conducting donuts in the middle of the roadway on El Indio Highway. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
