Maverick County Daily Reports-October 06, 2019

Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication-Thirty-four year old Dariela Canales was taken into custody on disorderly conduct and public intoxication charges early this morning after residents on the 1500 block of Wagon Wheel Road reported she had arrived at the location unannounced and began damaging several vehicles. Upon arrival, deputies observed Ms. Canales arguing with other females on the roadway and found her in an intoxicated state. She was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Public Intoxication-Deputies arrested fifty-five year old Manuel Suke Flores on public intoxication charges at the international port of entry 2 this morning. Upon arrival at the port, deputies observed a slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. Suke was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Driving While Intoxicated/Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the intersection of Deer Run Blvd and White Tail Drive this morning, whereupon arrival found an unoccupied 2004 Ford F-150 flipped over on its side. Shortly thereafter the owner of the vehicle, thirty year old Ramiro Perez reported his vehicle had gone missing. Contact was then made with Mr. Perez at his location, who would later admit to being the driver of the vehicle when the incident occurred. He was found to be highly intoxicated and wad charged with DWI. A check also revealed an outstanding warrant for Mr. Perez's arrest out of Reagan County. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle/Wanted Person-A complainant on the 800 block of Mikulinksi Road reported this evening that a known female subject had taken a 2015 Ford Focus without the owner's consent. A check on the reporting party, twenty-four year old Israel Moreno, revealed an active warrant for his arrest out of Maverick County. Mr. Moreno was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The vehicle was later located on Wipff Road.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to a single motor vehicle accident involving a 2009 Ford Fusion on FM 481 shortly after 9 PM this evening. Deputies spoke with the driver who reported she been driving southbound when she veered too close to the edge of the roadway, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and rolling it over on its left side. The driver and her two children sustained minor scrapes and were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for precautionary measures.
