Disorderly Conduct-A complainant on the 2600 block of Cenizo Drive reported unknown subject(s) traveling in a vehicle fired several shots from an unknown weapon. The complainant further advised no injuries were caused by the incident. A formal report was filed.
Assault/Family Violence, Resisting Arrest-Units responded to the 800 block of Calle Escondido this afternoon after a female complainant reported she had been assaulted by her common-law husband. Deputies then attempted to make contact with the husband, Jose Angel Mendez,who attempted to evade the scene on foot and refused to comply with requests. He was eventually apprehended and placed under arrest before being transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Arturo Alonso Garza was taken into custody after he was found in a highly intoxicated state by Nick Carr Park late this afternoon. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
