Maverick County Daily Reports-October 13, 2019

Warrant-Reynaldo Rodriguez was taken into custody at the international port of entry 2 this morning after initially being detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Maverick County was confirmed and Mr. Rodriguez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

DWI with A Child under 15 YOA-Units responded to Highway 277 North this morning after receiving calls of a possible disturbance in progress. Contact was made with a a female subject identified as Adriana Esquivel, who advised she was travelling to Del Rio with her juvenile daughter after having been involved in an argument. Ms. Esquivel displayed signs of intoxication and admitted to having consumed alcohol the previous evening. She was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Warrant-Twenty-nine year old Meloviades Alvarado was arrested at the international port of entry 1 this morning after a check revealed an open warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Alvarado was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A resident on the 3100 block of Leonel Street reported her 2011 Ford Mustang had been taken by unknown subject(s) from the location without consent. Deputies later located the vehicle unoccupied near Loop 480 and FM 1021 with front end damages. Upon searching the area, it was determined that the vehicle had struck a deer that was found nearby. The vehicle was towed to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office and this case is under investigation.
