Wanted Person-Deputies made contact with City of Eagle Pass Police officers early this morning after they had detained a male subject with an open warrant during a routine traffic stop near Del Rio Blvd. The warrant out of Maverick County for thirty-one year old Daniel Cantu was confirmed as active and Cantu was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A complainant reported a package shown as having been delivered via UPS has yet to arrive. The complainant advised he believes the package may have been taken without his consent and wished to file a formal report.
Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1800 block of Hillside reported unknown subject(s) had unlawfully entered his vehicle and took a gray bag containing several items. A formal report was taken.
