Maverick County Daily Reports-September 06, 2019

Identity Theft-A complainant reported an unknown subject acting as an employee of the social security office had called her to collect personal information. The complainant then visited social security offices and was told the phone call was not made on behalf of the agency. A formal report was filed.

Animal Cruelty-A county unit responded to the 3000 block of Calle Teresa this morning after receiving a call in reference to a malnourished animal. Upon arrival at the residence, a deputy observed a dog in an unhealthy state despite having food and water. Attempts to contact the owner were made to no avail. A report was filed.

Wanted Person-Twenty-six year old Jesus Alexis Flores was arrested at the international port of entry 1 after agents at the port detained him when a check revealed an open warrant. The warrant out of Medina County was confirmed as active and Flores was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
