Maverick County Daily Reports-September 02, 2019

Public Intoxication-Forty-four year old Roberto Montoya was arrested on public intoxication charges early this morning after deputies responded to calls of an unwanted subject on the 1800 block of Oaxaca. Montoya displayed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes and unstable movements. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to Memo Robinson Road this morning after a freight liner tractor trailer was involved in an accident with a Chevrolet Impala travelling eastbound. Contact was made with the driver of the trailer, who claimed the Impala veered into the oncoming lane and several attempts were made to get his attention. The Impala struck the front center of the trailer and the driver, who reported he was unaware he was travelling in the incoming lane, was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluation. The driver of the freight liner refused medical attention.  

Wanted Person-A unit was dispatched to the international port of entry #1 this evening after agents at the port detained a male subject whose background check revealed an open warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Dallas County for the subject identified as Jesus Reyes was confirmed as active and Reyes was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Public Intoxication-A deputy responded to Ferrer Street after receiving reports of an unwanted male subject in the area. Upon arrival, contact was made with the subject, identified as Luis Talamantes, who displayed signs of intoxication. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
