Wanted Person-A unit responded to the international port of entry early this morning after agents at the port had detained a male subject whose background check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out Maverick County for twenty-six year old Erik Martinez was confirmed and Mr. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Deputies were dispatched to the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 this morning after agents conducting inspections reported a 2016 Kia Rio was flagged as stolen out of San Antonio, Texas. The vehicle was confirmed as stolen out of the San Antonio Police Department and the occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for further investigation. This case was referred to the Criminal Investigations Unit and remains under investigation.
Wanted Person-Twenty-four year old Ryan Daniel was arrested at the international port of entry #1 this afternoon when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Reagan County was confirmed as open and Daniel was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested twenty-seven year old Miguel Angel Perez at the international port of entry #1 this afternoon when a check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant was confirmed and Perez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Contact was made with a male subject found walking alongside FM1021 and Rosita Valley Road this evening.The subject, Aroldo Noriega, emitted a strong alcohol odor from his person. A check would reveal Mr. Noriega had an outstanding warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
