Maverick County Sheriff Daily Report


Maverick County Sheriff’s Department
Harassment
Complainant stated she has been constantly harassed by a known female subject. A report was submitted.

Potro Park
Wanted Person
Deputies made contact with a male subject identified as Emmanuel De Leon. A background check revealed De Leon had two warrants out of Maverick County for Assault / Driving While Intoxicated. De Leon was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.   

U.S. Highway 277 East
Motor Vehicle Accident w/Fixed Object
Deputies responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy 277 East. Contact was then made with the driver of a 2000 Gray Chevrolet Silverado who stated he was traveling Eastbound and lost control of the vehicle due to water on the roadway. The vehicle then went off the road striking a barbwire fence. Minor damages were sustained. Driver refused medical attention.

220 Sun Valley
Animal Cruelty
Complainant stated unknown subject(s) shot and killed his dog. A report was submitted.  

Cinco Ranch
Deceased Person
Deputies responded to a deceased person by the Cinco Ranch near El Indio, Texas. Contact was then made with the reporting person who stated he was fishing in the Rio Grande when he observed a body floating. A Justice of the Peace was summoned to location and declared the person deceased. No identification was located on the deceased male. Case under investigation.

346 Peach
Aggravated Assault
Units responded to 346 Peach Street in regards to an assault that had occurred. Upon arrival Deputy made contact with complainant who advised he was assaulted by four male subjects inside a residence. Complainant advised as he fled the scene unknown subject began firing gun shots towards an unknown direction. Complainant advised he was not injured by the gun shots only from the assault. Complainant wished to file a formal report in regards to this matter.
