Maverick County Sheriffs Daily Report


Runaway (Located)
C.C. Winn Highschool
Deputies made contact with E.P.I.S.D Officer who stated a 16 year old female student had been located on school premises after she had been reported as a runaway by the mother. A report was filed.

Assault Family Violence
806 Mikuliski Street
Complainant stated he had a verbal argument with a known female subject who then punched him and kicked him causing minor scratches. A report was filed.

Theft
300 Molina Street
Complainant stated unknown subject(s) entered his property and took 3 cattle without his consent. A report was filed.

Runaway (Located)/Theft
153 E. Texas Blvd.
Deputies made contact with a complainant who stated she had located 16 year old granddaughter after being reported as a runaway. The juvenile also mentioned she had loaned her cell phone to an unknown male subject in which the subject then left without returning the phone. A report was filed.

Wanted Person
50 Mari Drive
Deputies made contact with a male subject identified as Jorge Alberto Duenez who revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Assault. Duenez was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident
U.S. Highway 277 North
Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy 277 North. Investigations revealed a 2008 White Cadillac Escalade was traveling Northbound when the driver passed an 18-wheeler and as he got back onto the road under construction, he struck the unlevelled road. The vehicle then went off the road striking a private ranch fence. The driver refused medical attention.
