Possession of
Dangerous Drug
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a gray Chrysler 300 for
a traffic violation at 800 block of Madrono Street. Deputies asked male driver
identified as Christian Anthony Corpus (25), for consent to search the vehicle
in which consent was granted. While searching vehicle, deputies observed a
white pill during their search of the vehicle, confirmed as a dangerous drug;
Alprazolam (generic for Xanax brand). Corpus was then placed under arrest for
being in possession of a dangerous drug and transported to the Tom Bowles
Detention Center for further processing. Corpus was issued a citation for the
traffic violation. Vehicle was released to family members.
