Maverick County Sheriff's Daily Report


Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA)
Pete Gallegos Elementary
Deputies responded to Pete Gallegos Elementary parking lot in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The driver of a black 2003 Hummer H3 struck a stationary blue 2012 Ford Focus as it was forced out from the parking spot. Damages were seen to the front bumper of the 2012 Ford Focus caused by the right rear tire of the 2003 Hummer H3. Driver of the 2003 Hummer H3 refused medical attention at the time of report.

Theft
3000 block Sauz Street
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to unknown actor(s) who took off both taillights to his 2006 gray GMC Sierra without his effective consent. Complainant advised the incident possible occurred late last night. A report was filed.

Terroristic Threat
Maverick County Sheriff’s Office
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to a known male subject who threatened to use physical violence against him and his children. Complainant further stated he fears for the safety of his children due to known male subject being affiliated with a known cartel group. A report was filed.

Hit and Run
100 block Spring View Drive
Deputies responded to 100 block Spring View Drive in reference to a hit and run that had already occurred. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who stated an unknown vehicle struck her grey 2019 Dodge Challenger on the left rear area. Complainant further stated that her vehicle was stationary and unoccupied when the incident occurred. Complainant advised the incident possibly occurred during late hours. A report was filed.

Burglary of Building
200 block Lindburgh Circle
Deputies responded to Lindburgh Circle in reference to a possible burglary of building. Contact was made with Complainant who stated unknown subject(s) unlawfully entered the building without consent in attempt to commit a theft, assault or a felony. Complainant stated it's not the first time the unknown subject(s) had committed a burglary of building in his residence. A report was filed.

Harassment
Maverick County Sheriff’s Office
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to a known male subject who has been continuously calling her and sending her unwanted text messages. Complainant advised she feels annoyed of the telephone calls and texts messages. A report was filed.

Theft
Maverick County Sheriff’s Office
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to an incident that had occurred on April of 2019. Complainant stated unknown actor(s) entered his property and took a wheelbarrow containing a welding machine without his effective consent. A report was filed.

Burglary of Vehicle
3200 Tesoro Loop
Deputies was responded to the 3200 block of Tesoro Loop in reference to a burglary of a vehicle report. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who stated that unknown subject(s) gained unlawful entry his 1998 GMC Sierra and took several items without his consent. A report was filed.
