Maverick County Sheriff Daily Report


Theft
300 block FM 2030
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to unknown actor(s) who took a welding machine without his effective consent. Complainant further stated his welding machine was located on the bed of his pick-up truck in which he noticed it was missing early this morning. Said item was later located after a social media post where a witness observed the item that was taken. Welding machine was taken to the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office and tagged as evidence.

Terroristic Threat
MCSO Lobby
Complainant wished to file a report in reference to her juvenile daughter being threatened by a known male subject after accusing her of snitching on him. A report was filed.  

Burglary of Habitation
Argelia Street
Deputies responded to Argelia Street in reference to a possible burglary of habitation report. Deputies made contact with the complainant who stated upon arriving by location, an unknown male subject was inside her residence without her consent. The complainant advised that she did know who the male subject was. Male subject later identified as Juan Carlos Garcia (21), was placed under arrest for burglary of a habitation and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing. Juan Carlos Garcia was also issued a criminal trespass warning.

Disorderly Conduct
3000 block of Siesta Drive
Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Siesta Drive in reference to unwanted male subject. Upon arrival, Deputies observed a male and female subject verbally arguing outside location. Upon further investigation, both female and male subject were placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. Both female and male subject were issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct.

Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle
100 block Pleasant Drive
Complainant stated unknown actor(s) took his vehicle 2001 black Buick without his effective consent. The vehicle was recovered in the early hours the following day in which it was impounded due to a different incident that had occurred.

Wanted Person
Port of Entry #1
Deputy was dispatched to the Port of Entry #1 in reference to a wanted person. Upon arrival, contact was made with CBP Agents, who stated they detained male subject due to an active warrant. Deputy conducted a TCIC/NCIC system check on male subject identified as Jaime Alonso Silva (37). A system check revealed Silva had an active warrant with the US Marshals Service. Silva was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person
Eidson Road
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Chrysler 300 for a traffic violation. Deputies conducted a TCIC/NCIC check on male driver, Santos Quismas, which revealed an active warrant with the U.S Marshall Service. After further investigation, two female passengers displayed signs of intoxication, they were placed under arrest. Deputies also recovered several smoking pipes and alprazolam (Xanax) pills in their possession.  Deputies also recovered a clear crystal-like substance later tested positive for crack cocaine was found on Tammy Rhange Hernandez (20) person.  Mr. Quismas and both females were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowels Detention Center for further process.  Vehicle was towed by Baldes Wrecker Service. The other female Antonia Hernandez (22) was also placed under arrest.
