Maverick County Sheriff Daily Report


Wanted Person
Port of Entry #2
A TCIC/NCIC check on female subject, Gregoria Talamantes (34) came back wanted out of Maverick County, (FTA-Theft by Check). She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Deceased Person
Lehmann Ranch (Private Property)
Deputies were dispatched said location in reference to a deceased person. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with Border Patrol Agents who encounter a deceased body on the river banks. J.P Smith arrived at location and pronounced time of death at 11:45 AM. Memorial Funeral chapel took possession of the body.

Motor Vehicle Accident
FM 1021/Loop 480
Maverick County Units were dispatched to said location in reference to an MVA. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with a 2018 silver Mazda CX-5 who had rear end damages. Deputies made contact with second vehicle a 2018 Black Ford Mustang which had front right damages. After further investigation, Black Mustang struck the Mazda CX-5 on its rear end. Drivers refused medical attention at time of report.

Adult Probation Office
A TCIC/NCIC check on female subject Valeria Vasquez, came back wanted out of Maverick County, (Probation Violation-Credit Card Abuse). She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person

A TCIC/NCIC check on male subject Ramon Velazquez, came back wanted out of Maverick County, (FTA-Theft). He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Habitation/Criminal Mischief
Loop 480 (Private Ranch)
Complainant stated that unknown subjects entered complainant’s Mobil home without his effective consent in which several weapons were taken. Complainant also stated that unknown subject’s also caused damages to his property. Weapons (Guns) were entered in the TCIC/NCIC system as a stolen gun. Case is currently under investigation.

Wanted Person
U.S. Border Patrol South Station
Deputy was dispatched to the U.S Border Patrol Station in reference to a wanted person. Upon arrival, undersigned made contact with BP Agent who stated he had a male subject later identified as Francisco Javier Estrella detained due to him having an active warrant. A TCIC/NCIC check was conducted on Estrella, which revealed he was wanted out of Kerr County Sheriff Office for Hit and Run. Estrella was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowels Detention Center for further processing.
