Maverick County Daily Reports-March 11, 2019

DWI/Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies arrested Alan David Gutierrez this morning after he was found behind the wheel in an intoxicated state on Highway 277 near the SAC area. The vehicle, a black Chrysler 200, has extensive damages throughout the body. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Jose Frausto Casillas was arrested at the international port of entry #2 this morning after being detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Hays County was confirmed by deputies and Frausto was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.


Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant reported she had left her vehicle unlocked upon entering the Stripes convenience store on FM1021 only to return and find it missing. A formal report was filed.

Identity Theft-A complainant told deputies an unknown actor has been using her social security number without her effective consent. A formal report was filed.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to Thompson Road this evening after the driver of a 2015 Jeep Cherokee lost control his vehicle and struck a fenceline and a tree. The vehicle sustained front-end damages and the driver was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further medical treatment. This case is under investigation.
