Burglary of Habitation-A resident on Los Sauces reported unknown subject(s) had gained unlawful entrance into her home and had taken several pieces of furniture and electronics without her consent.
A formal report was filed.
Theft-Deputies met with a complainant at the Stripes convenience store on FM1021 who reported his flatbed trailer had been taken from the parking lot without consent. A report was taken.
Theft-A resident in the Deer Run sector of Maverick County reported unknown subject(s) had taken her lawncare equipment from her home without consent.
Wanted Person-Deputies this afternoon arrested twenty-eight-year-old Mario Alberto Gonzalez at a residence on Rosewood Drive after probation officers had initially detained him when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of the Val Verde Sheriff's Office was confirmed and Mr. Gonzalez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Deceased Person-Units responded to the 100 block of Wild Oak Drive this evening after fielding reports of a possible deceased person. Contact was made with EMS crews upon arrival at the residence, who reported the subject did not display any vital signs. The subject's brother was also at the scene and reported the male subject had not complained of or displayed any health problems. A Justice of the Peace arrived at the residence to pronounce the subject deceased.
Assault-Leroy Pace was placed under arrest this evening after deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex on Marseilles Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with two witnesses who reported they observed a male subject being assaulted by another subject with a pole. Mr. Pace advised he had confronted the subject and the confrontation turned physical. The subject displayed small lacerations and swelling in the facial area, however, refused further medical attention. Pace was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
