Hit and Run-Units responded to the intersection of Rosita Valley Road and Tierra Soberana early this morning, where the driver of a 2015 Ford Explorer stated she had been traveling on Rosita Valley Road when an unknown vehicle traveling on Tierra Soberana disregarded a stop sign and struck her vehicle before fleeing the scene. The collision caused extensive damages to the front end of the Explorer and the driver, identified as twenty-one-year-old Katiana Vasquez, was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluation. This case is under investigation.
Assault-A complainant on the 4100 block of Deer Run Blvd. reported a known male subject had assaulted her when he pushed her up against the wall and took her cell phone without consent. A formal report was filed.
Assault/Family Violence-A resident on the 600 block of Guisseppi Street reported she had been involved in a verbal argument with her husband which escalated into a physical assault. The complainant wished to file a formal report.
