Animal Cruelty-Contact was made with a complainant on the 100 block of Richard Lane who report an unknown subject driving a company vehicle purposefully ran over her dog this afternoon. A formal report was filed.
Motor Vehicle Accident with a Pedestrian-Units responded to Maverick County Lake this morning after the juvenile driver of a Nissan Rogue reversing his mother's vehicle accidentally struck a cyclist crossing behind him. EMS crews were summoned to the location and the cyclist was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical evaluation. A report was filed.
Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international port of entry 1 this afternoon after agents at the port detained a male subject attempting to enter the United States when a check revealed an open warrant for his arrest. The warrant for Francisco Salinas out of Dimmit County was confirmed and Mr. Salinas was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
