Wanted Person-Luis Ramirez Talamantes was arrested this morning after a check revealed an open warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault/Family Violence/Resisting Arrest-Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Caribou Trail, whereupon arrival heard a female subject screaming for help. Deputies forced entry into the residence and found a male subject, identified as Felipe Navarro Avalos, on top of his wife assaulting her. He was placed under arrest after a brief resistance and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
