Wanted Person-Eduardo Salazar Saldana was arrested at the international port of entry #2 this morning after being detained by agents at the port of entry when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Denton County was confirmed and Mr. Saldana was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Disorderly Conduct-Residents on the 100 block of Chula Vista Road contacted the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report an aggressive female at the location. Deputies spoke with the complainants upon arrival, who reported Rosario Garza Williamson was highly aggressive and caused them to fear for their lives. Ms. Williamson was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault-A complainant on Mayan Circle reported she was physically assaulted by her ex-boyfriend and his sister when she arrived at his residence. A report was filed.
Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Units responded to the intersection of US Highway 277 North and Church Street late this evening, whereupon arrival observed an unoccupied 2016 Hyundai Veloster in the middle of the road. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing a subject fleeing the scene on foot. Further investigations revealed the vehicle was traveling northbound on US Highway 277 when the driver lost control and struck a light pole.
