Identity Theft-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) are using her personal identification information to open accounts without her consent. A formal report was filed.
Assault/Family Violence-Units responded to a residence on Sosa Street where contact was made with a male subject who reported he had been involved in an argument with his sister which turned physical. Contact was also made with the complainant, who would report the verbal argument with her brother had turned physical when he struck her in the facial area. The subject, Mario Farias, was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Arturo Garza was arrested on public intoxication charges this afternoon after he was reported found lying by the canal near Memo Robinson Road. Contact was made with Mr. Garzaemittedittied a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person, had bloodshot eyes, and a slurred speech. Mr. Garza was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Habitation-A deputy responded to the 1700 block of Eidson Road after a complainant reported unknown subject(s) had entered her residence and took a firearm along with other items from the home without her consent.
