Maverick County Daily Reports-October 11, 2018

Disorderly Conduct-A deputy responded to a residence on the  2800 block of Sewell Street this morning after neighbors reported hearing noise and items being broken coming from the home next door. Contact was made with two individuals who had received a previous warning to separate. Hugo Beltran Barrientos and Natalie Denise Mendiola were then taken into custody on disorderly conduct charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Resisting Arrest/Criminal Mischief/Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 2900 block of Cedar reported a known male subject had gained unlawful entry to her residence and was asked to leave. The subject then reacted violently and broke the front windshield and driver side window to her vehicle. Deputies attempting to arrest the subject, identified as Jose Humberto Hernandez, initially met resistance before being able to take him into custody. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Damage to Property-A deputy met with a property owner on Agua Dulce Road this evening who stated he had heard shots fired near his residence. Upon exiting the home, he observed the rear window to his vehicle completely shattered and believes the damages may have been caused by someone shooting towards his residence. He was, however, unsure as to who may have caused the damages. A formal report was filed.
