Wanted Person-Angel Horta, Jr. was arrested at the Maverick County Adult Probation Department this afternoon after a check conducted by probation officers revealed an active warrant. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to FM1021 near the Loop 480 intersection this afternoon, where the driver of a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro struck a Dodge pickup from behind. The force of the collision caused the pickup to then strike a Chevrolet Suburban from behind. EMS crews were at the scene to transport the driver of the Camaro and a passenger in the Suburban to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
Information Report-Units responded to the 2800 block of Siwell Street this evening whereupon arrival made contact with a male subject with several stab wounds. The subject, Hugo Beltran, was quickly transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment. Further investigation revealed the stab wounds were self-inflicted. The criminal investigations division was contacted and arrived at the scene.
