Maverick County Daily Reports-August 01, 2018

Reckless Driving-A deputy patrolling South Veteran's Blvd. this morning came upon two vehicles found side by side accelerating at unsafe speeds in what appeared to be a race between the two. Emergency lights were activated in an attempt to make a stop on the two vehicles, but only one vehicle involved came to a complete stop. Contact was made with  Jose Alberto Rios, the driver of a black 2011 Ford Mustang, who admitted to having been racing. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
