Maverick County Daily Reports-August 17, 2018

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to Las Quintas Blvd. this afternoon after a female subject behind the wheel of a vehicle suffered a seizure. The episode caused the female to drive straight onto Las Quintas Blvd., where she struck a parked pickup whose impact caused it to strike a brick fence. The female subject was then transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

Assault/Family Violence-A resident on the first block of Las Moras reported a verbal argument with her boyfriend turned physical when he struck her in the upper eye area with his head. EMS crews arrived at the scene but the female refused further medical treatment and transport to the ER. 

Leaving the Scene of an Accident-A unit responded to the 900 block of Casales this evening, whereupon arrival contact was made with a female complainant who stated an unknown vehicle had struck her fence and fled the scene. In searching the area, deputies discovered an oil slick left behind and followed its trail, which led to a 2003 Ford Expedition with front end damages parked by a residence on Callejon Teran. The vehicle was towed to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.
