Aggravated Assault/Deadly Conduct/Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-A deputy was dispatched to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center this morning where he met with two male complainants who reported an assault. A first complainant who suffered a broken nose reported being physically assaulted by a known male subject, while a second complainant reported that in the midst of the assault, the known subject displayed a handgun and threatened to shoot him. Both complainants further reported the subject had shot the weapon several times towards the ground, placing them in fear for their lives. A report has been taken and this case is under investigation.
Wanted Person-A County unit was dispatched to the 1400 block of Chilo Street this evening after receiving reports of an unwanted male subject near the location. Contact was made with the subject upon arrival, whose check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant for Isaac Esparza, Jr. out of Reagan County was confirmed and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Family Violence/Assault-A complainant on Highway 277 North this evening reported she had been physically assaulted by a known male subject. A formal report was filed.
