Maverick County Daily Reports-March 03, 2018

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to FM1021 near El Indio, Texas early this morning after the driver of 2015 Nissan Versa lost control of her vehicle when she fell asleep behind the wheel, causing it to roll over on its top.  The driver refused medical attention at the time of the report and the vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service. This case is under investigation. 

Possession of a Dangerous Drug-Units responded to the international port of entry #1 this afternoon after agents at the port detained a male subject found in possession of a dangerous drug. Upon arrival, it was revealed that the subject, identified as Marcos Ramirez, had attempted to his approximately 57 Xanax bars in his trousers. Mr. Ramirez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.  

Credit Card Abuse-Deputies met with a resident on the 100 block of Wichita Street, who reported she had observed unknown subject(s) have been using her credit card without consent.
