Maverick County Daily Reports-September 30, 2017

Public Intoxication-A deputy patrolling Memo Robinson Road  made contact with the occupants of a 2002 Mazda after they were pulled over for a minor traffic infraction early this morning. Jose Orlando Aragon, the driver, and his passenger Victor Daniel Rodriguez both displayed a slurred speech and an unknown alcoholic odor emitting from their breath. The two were taken into custody on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-A unit was dispatched to Albores Street after a 2014 Ford Mustang had veered off the roadway and struck a light pole. The vehicle was found unoccupied upon arrival at the scene and a local wrecker service impounded the vehicle.

Theft/Burglary of Building-A rash of burglaries were reported by the 1800 block of Hilltop and the 1700 block of Bianca, where several residents advised that unknown subject(s) had gained entry to their property and took several items from storage areas and yards without consent Reports on this matter have been filed.
