Maverick County Daily Reports-July 30, 2017

Family Violence-Units responded to Dubb Street, where contact was made with a female subject who had gotten into a verbal argument with a known male subject which led to a physical confrontation.

Family Violence-A complainant on the 2400 block of FM1664 reported she had been struck in the chest by a known male subject in the midst of an argument.

Deceased Person-Units were dispatched to the Box Car Ranch area, where contact was made with United States Border Patrol agents who came upon an unresponsive male subject. EMS crews were summoned to the location, however, the subject was pronounced deceased by a Justice of the Peace at 9:00 PM.

Aggravated Robbery-Units responded to the 1800 block of Oaxaca in reference to a theft in progress. Upon arrival, a complainant stated two unknown male subjects entered her property requesting money and jewelry. One of the male subjects had displayed again and had also assaulted the female with a closed fist. The subjects entered the home and attempted to take a television but were unable to do so, however, took a Samsung tablet. This case is under investigation.
