Maverick County Daily Reports-July 29, 2017

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a male subject identified as James Ryan Brown this morning at the international port of entry #2 after being detained when a check revealed active warrants for his arrest. The warrants were confirmed and Mr. Brown was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Rosendo Rodriguez III was placed under arrest this morning after a check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A unit was dispatched to the USBP checkpoint on US Highway 57 after agents detained a male subject with an active warrant for his arrest. Alvino Sanchez was placed under arrest when the warrants were confirmed. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Located Runaway-A seventeen year old female subject reported as a runaway out of Bexar County was located at the international port of entry this evening. The subject was transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office and was released to her parents.

Possession of a Controlled Substance-Deputies arrested Juan Alberto De Luna at the international port of entry this afternoon after agents found a container containing cocaine inside his vehicle. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Deceased Person-A county unit was dispatched to the 800 block of Wagon Wheel, where contact was made with a family member who stated her mother had passed away. Justice of the Peace Smith was at the location to pronounce the sixty-six year old female subject deceased at approximately 6:00 PM.

Wanted Person-Pedro Torres was arrested at the international port of entry after a check revealed an active warrant out of Kinney County. Mr. Torres was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing

Aggravated Robbery-A deputy responded to the 1700 block of Eidson Road, where a male subject reported two unknown subject had taken his cellphone without consent when they displayed a knife.

Public Intoxication-A deputy on patrol made contact with a male subject at a local convenience store who was found in an intoxicated state. Jose Luis Castillo was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Deadly Conduct-A complainant on Lisa Blvd. reported unknown subject(s) had fired several rounds into his residence that was found unoccupied at the time of the incident.
