Maverick County Daily Reports-April 10, 2017

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz./Public Intoxication-Deputies made contact with United States Border Patrol agents, who had detained two subjects who were found to be highly intoxicated. Consent to search a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer was given, where deputies would later locate a green leafy substance, identified as marijuana. Kathelyne Nicole Jimenez was placed under arrest on possession of marijuana charges. The second subject, Javier Garza, Jr., was arrested on public intoxication charges. Both were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Jose Alfredo Torres was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 shortly before 6:00 AM this morning when a background check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A deputy on patrol made contact with a male subject found sleeping next to the road. The subject, identified as Gilbert Valdez, was found to be highly intoxicated and a background check confirmed a warrant for his arrest. Mr. Valdez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
