Maverick County Daily Reports-January 15, 2017

Public Intoxication-Deputies this morning responded to a disturbance in progress on the 2300 block of Eidson Road. Upon arrival, contact was made with Hazael Nieto Arrellano, who told deputies he had been arguing with his girlfriend when she refused to give him the keys to his vehicle. At the time, Mr. Arrellano displayed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Deceased Person-Deputies responded to calls of an unresponsive elderly female on Spring View. EMS crews were on hand for evaluation of the subject, which showed no signs of life. Justice of the Peace Castaneda pronounced Trinidad Rodriguez Rodriguez deceaed at approximately 2:48 A.M.

Assault/Criminal Mischief-A complainant reported she had been involved in a physical altercation with a known male subject. At the time, the subject also damaged the floor to her residence with a cement brick. The male fled the scene prior to a deputies' arrival.

Wanted Person-Twenty-six year old Sebastian Salazar was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #1 this afternoon when a check revealed an open warrant out of Bexar County. The warrant was confirmed as active and Mr. Salazar was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-A County unit responded to Wagon Wheel Road this evening, where Jose Guadalupe De Hoyos was placed under arrest on Public Intoxication charges. De Hoyos had been involved in a verbal confrontation with his father when deputies observed his intoxicated state. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
