Maverick County Daily Reports-September 20, 2016

Assault-Deputies responded to an unconscious male subject who had reportedly been assaulted at Tequilas Cantina this morning. Upon arrival, a twenty year old male was found lying on the grouch with bumps, bruises, and scratches to the head and facial area. EMS crews were summoned to the scene where the subject regained consciousness and refused further medical attention. Customers at the bar reported several male subjects had assaulted the victim and left the area prior to deputies arrival.

Theft-A resident on Frente Street reported unknown subject(s) had taken a 3.5 ton jack from her residence without consent.

Theft-A complainant on the 2800 block of Rosita Valley Road told officers unknown actor(s) possibly made off a flock of sheep and a pony from his property without consent.

Wanted Person-A traffic stop conducted on a vehicle for a minor infraction this evening revealed the driver to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant for Roberto De La Garza on failure to appear charges out of Maverick County was confirmed and Mr. De La Garza was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
