Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international port of entry 2 this morning, where CBP agents detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. Melquiades Alvarado was taken into custody when the warrant was confirmed and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Loop 480 this evening. At approximately 8:48 P.M. units were en route to the scene, whereupon arrival, observed Pontiac G6 had struck a Ford Mustang on the rear left bumper area. The driver of the Mustang was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for treatment on a small laceration on the back of his head. The driver of the Pontiac was also transported to the Emergency Room for a pain on her wrist.
