Maverick County Daily Reports-September 19, 2016

Theft-A deputy responded to the 3200 block of Tesoro Loop, where a complainant reported unknown subject(s) had taken approximately four tires and rims located by the side of his house without consent.

Deceased Person-Deputies responded to the Bowles Ranch of of FM1021 this morning, where upon arrival, contact was made with United States Border Patrol agents. Agents reported patrolling the area and observed a body of an unresponsive male subject in the middle of the Rio Grande River. The body was recovered and the male subject was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Madera at 10:20 A.M.

Hit and Run-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report an unknown vehicle had caused damages to his 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck and left the area.

Child Endangerment-A female subject was placed under arrest this afternoon after her husband reported a verbal argument had led his wife to knowingly and intentionally ram his vehicle with her car while their one year old child was a passenger with her. No injuries to the child were reported and the female was charged with child endangerment.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Clinton Wilson Ritchie was arrested at the international port of entry 1 after CBP agents detained him when he was found to be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana. He was taken into custody by deputies and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
