Maverick County Daily Reports-July 18, 2016

Assault/Family Violence-Deputies responded to the intersection of Loop 480 and US Highway 227 East this morning after being contacted by Border Patrol agents in reference to a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, a female subject stated that her common law husband had physically assaulted her by hitting her head against a window and pushed her out the vehicle. Bobby Joe De La Garza out of Uvalde, Texas was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #2 this morning where two male subjects were detained when background checks revealed active warrants for their arrests. Josuel Martinez and Jesus Javier Jaime were taken into custody after the warrants were confirmed and were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Thirty-six year old David Castillo, Jr. was taken into custody this afternoon at the Maverick County Adult Probation Department when a warrant for his arrest was confirmed. Mr. Castillo was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Criminal Mischief-A complainant on the 1300 block of Siesta Drive reported unknown subject(s) had shattered the windshield and driver's side window to his pickup truck with a cement block.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Deputies made contact with Kickapoo Tribal Police this morning, who stated they had recovered a green leafy substance in the possession of twenty year old Dariela Aguilar. The substance tested positive for marijuana and Aguilar was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
