Criminal Mischief-Deputies responded to the 3800 block of Doe Lane, where a male complainant reported he had been involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend. In the midst of the altercation, the female subject broke a mirror as well as a window. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication/Possession of a Controlled Substance-A County unit was dispatched to Barbara Street this morning in reference to an unwanted male subject by the locale. Upon arrival, the complainant told deputies the male subject, later identified as Jose Mendez, arrived and demanded to be let into the residence. Mr. Mendez displayed unstable balance, slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. A body pat down of Mr. Mendez further revealed him to be in possession of a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance which later tested positive for cocaine. Mr. Mendez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
