Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle/DWI-While traveling on Spur 216 this morning, a deputy witnessed a vehicle traveling on the same road at a high rate of speed(80 MPH in a 45 MPH zone). Emergency lights were enabled, however, the driver failed to yield and a chase ensued. The vehicle came to a final stop near the entrance to Eagle Pass High School on Bibb Street. The driver, 23 year old Jaime Martinez, Jr., displayed signs of intoxication and refused to give a specimen of his breath. He was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault/Family Violence-Deputies responded to Old Pioneer Road in regards to an assault in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female complainant who stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with her husband. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Terroristic Threats-A complainant reported a known male subject had arrived at his location and threatened him. The male subject had fled the scene prior to a deputies arrival.
