Maverick County Daily Reports-February 19, 2016

Wanted Person-A traffic stop at the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Memo Robinson Road revealed that the driver of a Pontiac Grand Prix had an open warrant for his arrest. Deputies took Armando Miguel Ramos after confirming the warrant out of Maverick County. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-A deputy responded to the parking lot of Wagon Wheel Beer in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the rear of the establishment. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a male subject asleep behind the wheel of a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup. Contact was made with Jesus Jaime Perez Cardenas of San Antonio, Texas, who displayed bloodshot eyes, a slurred speech, unstable balance, and a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person. Mr. Perez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A resident on the 1300 block of Las Quintas Blvd. reported unknown subjects had entered his property and took his Kawasaki mini motorcycle from his porch without consent.

Family Violence-A reporting person stated her common law husband had struck her several times in the face and body area after a verbal argument led to physical contact.

Theft-A complainant on Agarita Street stated her estranged husband had taken her debit card and $40.00 in cash from her purse without her consent. Alejandro Ruiz was later found hiding by Rivera Street and Del Rio Blvd. Mr. Ruiz was placed under arrest on public intoxication and theft charges. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
