Theft-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) had taken personal belongings from her residence without consent.
Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle-A resident on the 100 block of Laguna Circle stated unknown actor(s) took his 2008 Saturn Outlook without his consent. He was referred to the Criminal Investigations Division for further process.
Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to the intersection of Encuentro and Potro Street in reference to a male subject found on the street. Upon arrival, contact was made with Arturo Garza, who had a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. EMS crews were summoned to the scene, where Mr. Garza refused medical attention. Further investigations revealed Mr. Garza to have bloodshot eyes, unstable balance, and a slurred speech. For his safety and that of others, Mr. Garza was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
