Maverick County Daily Reports-December 06, 2015

Assault/Family Violence-Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Rosita Valley Road, where upon arrival contact was made with Roberto Alcala and Michelle Lozano. The two subjects stated that they were driving in their vehicle when an argument ensued. The argument escalated into a physical altercation and both subjects were found with visible cuts and bumps on their faces. The two were taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A reporting person at the Mr. Cartender on Del Rio Blvd. stated that an unknown male subject had entered the store and took several cans of beer without paying for them.

Deceased Person-A deputy was dispatched to Lisa drive after a female subject was found unresponsive in her bed. Upon arrival, contact was made with EMS personnel who advised they arrived to find a sixty-seven year old female subject deceased. The subject's husband also advised the female had a history of diabetes and kidney problems and had recently undergone heart surgery. Justice of the Peace Mancha arrived at the scene and pronounced the time of death at 5:32 AM determined to be of natural causes.

Motor Vehicle Accident-deputies responded to the intersection of Memo Robinson Road and Eidson Road after a 2006 black Chevrolet HHR bearing Coahuila license plates had collided into a mobile tower fence line, causing minor damages. The driver refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Information-A deputy responded to the 3100 block of Tita Street, where upon arrival, spoke with several subjects who were determined to be undocumented citizens. United States Border Patrol agents took custody of five male subjects and one female subject.

DWI-A deputy patrolling FM 1021 this afternoon conducted a traffic stop on a pick up truck found to be weaving in and out of his lane. Contact was made with the driver, Juan Carlos Torres, who was found to have a slurred speech and some type of alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Mr. Torres was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on the 100 block of Nogal reported unknown subject(s) entered his vehicle without his consent.
