Wanted Person-Eagle Pass Police Department officers made contact with a Sheriff's deputy after having detained a male subject with an active warrant. A TCIC/NCIC database check on Ricardo Valdez confirmed an open warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for Mr. Valdez. Hw was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Reckless Driving-A deputy patrolling US Highway 277 North this morning observed a 2000 black Ford F-250 traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on the center lane. Emergency lights were activated and the deputy was able to conduct a traffic stop by the intersection of Highway 277 and Dr. Gates. The driver, Eduardo Maldonado III, was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #2 after a male subject attempting to enter the United States was detained on an active warrant. Officers were able to confirm an open warrant on Jose Olaguer Sandoval out of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office on larceny charges. Mr. Sandoval was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession and use of an Inhalant/Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Deputies responded to the Maverick County Lake after receiving reports of a male subject with a knife. Upon arrival, contact was made with Leonardo Gabriel Saucedo, who was found sitting next to a small building by the second lake. Mr. Saucedo appeared to be highly intoxicated and was having trouble standing on his own. He also had a strong odor of a chemical volatile agent emitting from his person and was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Lety, where an unwanted subject in the area was found to be intoxicated. Officers arrested Juan Gabriel Aguilar on public intoxication charges and transported him to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault/Family Violence-Deputies on the 100 block of Round Rock arrested Jeffrey Gonzalez after a complainant reported having been assaulted by him while Gonzalez was wanting to take their child. Mr. Gonzalez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Assault/Family Violence-A complainant on the 2000 block of Olive Street reported that a known male subject had struck her in the facial area several times. The complainant was then transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
