Maverick County Daily Reports-November 07, 2015

DWI-A deputy patrolling FM 1021 conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 brown GMC Sierra  for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, thirty-four year old Jorge Alamillo, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person. Field sobriety tests were performed, and based upon poor performance, Mr. Alamillo was placed under arrest. He would then be transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to the 3200 block of Yucca Loop this morning, after a complainant advised an unknown subject was inside the storage behind her residence. Deputies arrived at the location and observed a female subject who appeared to be highly intoxicated and disoriented. She would be placed under arrest on Public Intoxication charged and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Aggravated Assault-A complainant on County Road 226 reported to deputies that he may have possibly been stabbed with an unknown object in the midst of being assaulted by several male subjects. Deputies arrived at the scene and observed a puncture wound on the complainant's left bicep. EMS crews were also called to the scene, where the complainant refused further medical attention. A second report was filed at the same location when the homeowner of the residence stated a known male subject had refused to leave. The known male subject became upset and struck the complainant with a closed fist in the mouth area. This case remains under investigation.

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 600 block of Alamo Street reported unknown subjects had gained entry into the residence by breaking window. The subject(s) were able to enter the home and took numerous items without consent.
