Maverick County Daily Reports-November 06, 2015

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to US Highway 57 by mile marker 376 this morning, after the driver of a 2008 white GMC Savana lost control of the vehicle. At approximately 2:31 AM, county units were en route the scene of the accident, whereupon arrival, made contact with fifty-one year old Ana Martinez, the driver of the vehicle involved. Ms. Martinez reported having lost control of the vehicle when it veered into the northbound lane, sliding to its left side off of the shoulder of the highway. She would later refuse medical attention. 











Motor Vehicle Accident-County units were dispatched to the intersection of FM 1021 and FM 2644 near El Indio, Texas in reference to a single motor vehicle accident. Deputies on the scene made contact with the driver, identified as fifty-five year old Alfredo Martinez, who was traveling westbound on FM 2644 when he was not able to conduct a proper right turn. The vehicle then headed straight into the fence line of the EG Ranch, causing damages. Mr. Martinez refused medical attention at the time of the report. 

Wanted Person-A county deputy was dispatched to the United States Border Patrol north station after agents detained a possible wanted person. The officer confirmed an active warrant out of Bexar County on Noe Emilio Ruiz. Mr. Ruiz was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Identity Theft-A complainant on Sandalo Street advised deputies that his identity had been stolen by unknown subject(s) at an unknown time and was currently being used without his consent.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Tribal police officers made contact with Sheriff's deputies this afternoon, after a traffic stop on a white GMC pickup truck on a minor infraction led to two subjects being detained. Officers made contact with Santos Aaron Mendoza and Luis Angel Hinojosa. During a pat down of the subjects, a clear plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance was found on their possession. The case was then taken by the Maverick County Sheriff's Office and the two subjects were arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 
Theft Report-A complainant reported to officers that unknown subject(s) had taken a table from outside of his residence.
